MJ OPENS UP ABOUT LEBRONS' DECISION TO JOIN MIAMI HEAT.....

Michael Jordan recently opened up, again, about Lebron’s decision to join the Miami Heat. Bron is catching a lot of flac about his decision. Its like, people wanted him to go his entire career simply accumulating stats without winning a championship, and feel sorry for him in the end. I say to hell with that. If at first you don’t succeed, try again, or try something new. Lebron is trying something new. At a recent interview after a golf tournament, the GOAT says Lebrons’ decision is an opportunity that young ball players have now a days, but that would have never crossed his mind.

“There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team,’” Jordan said. “But that’s … things are different. I can’t say that’s a bad thing. It’s an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.”

For the September issue, which also marks the magazine’s 13th anniversary, Editor-in-Chief, Vanessa Satten traveled to Belize for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Shyne Po. Shyne is a rapper who took the fall for Diddy in 2001.

It is alleged that on December 27, 1999, Shyne, along with Combs and then girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, was involved in a shooting at a Manhattan club which left three people injured. As a result the 21-year-old rapper, whose debut album was pending release, was charged with attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment.

On prison: “I looked at bein’ in the pen for 10 joints as my opportunity to concentrate, to get things in perspective. And I never let it devastate me, although it was devastating, because I never thought I was gonna be in jail for 10 years. I thought I was gon’ make a bail. I thought I was gon’ get my shit reversed. I’m terribly optimistic.”

On Diddy: “I don’t know whether he was nervous, afraid,” Shyne says of Puffy. “When you’re afraid and you’re emotional, that’s a different survival tactic. Those are the people that do anything, regardless of character and integrity, to preserve and protect themselves, regardless of who they hurt.

I guess maybe that was the situation. Never been in a situation like that, where he facing years, and he got hundreds of millions and all that shit at stake. But where I’m from, doesn’t matter. You lose everything for your comrade. Again, if you’re in battle, I’ll catch a bullet, too. It ain’t like, Yo, he’s dead. Don’t make no sense for me to die, too. Nah, I’ma die, too! So you hope or you take for granted that all men are the same. But I know all men are not.”

Paris Hilton was briefly detained in Corsica after sniffer dogs detected a “quite small” quantity of marijuana in her bag, a French newspaper reported Saturday.

Corse Matin newspaper said officers at the airport in Figari found about one gram’s worth of marijuana. Hilton, who was transiting the French Mediterranean island in a private jet on Friday, was hauled in for questioning and released about 30 minutes later, the report said.

In a posting on the TwitLonger site Saturday, Hilton wrote, “Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false!”

Amber Rose and Reggie Bush are kicking it. The two arrived together at the AXE Lounge in Southampton Saturday night and were caught loving on each other all night long. Word is on the street that Amber an Kanya are no longer kicking it. Apparently, they even took bathroom breaks together, and security guards had to guide them through the jam-packed crowd club.

My Sources also told me that the two left in separate cars in fear of Paparazzi, but got back up later that night to talk…She doesn’t know if the two are a new couple but she did say they wore extra friendly with each other all night. My sources said that they are going to give me the rest of the dirt after she wakes up and talk to some people

Mary J. Blige is one of the most recognized R and B singers in the game right now. Recently, she held a summer concert where she revealed she just graduated.

As many of you already know, I never finished highschool, and they just recently gave me my honorary degree. And I got accepted into Howard University. If I look a little more confident, its because of that.

The Dream's "Love King" album won’t be making a major impression on the charts. According to Hits Daily Double the record is set to open with a dismal 55-60k units sold on next week’s tally. By comparison, The-Dream’s previously released ‘Love vs Money’ debuted with sales surpassing 151k – 3 times the projected sales of ‘Love King’. On the bright side, ‘Love King’ will be the highest new entry on next week’s lineup, with Eminem's "Recovery" once again claiming the top spot.
